Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZeroJolt's platform and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

Service Description

ZeroJolt provides a unified cybersecurity platform for exposure management and remediation orchestration across IT, Cloud, OT/IoT, and Identity environments. Services include discovery, risk analysis, workflow automation, and compliance evidence collection.

Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account
  • Use the service in compliance with applicable laws

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform
  • Use the service to transmit malware or harmful code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Data and Privacy

You retain ownership of your data. We process your data according to our Privacy Policy and your service configuration. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any data with our platform and for configuring appropriate access controls.

Subscription and Payment

Services are provided on a subscription basis. Fees are charged according to your selected plan and usage. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Service Level and Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. SLA terms are defined in your Enterprise or Critical tier agreement. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice.

Automated Actions and Guardrails

When using our automation features (Guardrailed Autopilot), you are responsible for:

  • Configuring appropriate allowlists and approval policies
  • Testing automation in non-production environments first
  • Monitoring automated actions and their outcomes
  • Maintaining rollback procedures

We provide safety guardrails, but you remain responsible for the configuration and outcomes of automated actions in your environment.

Intellectual Property

ZeroJolt retains all rights to our platform, software, documentation, and trademarks. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service according to these terms. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

Warranties and Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ZEROJOLT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ZeroJolt harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or violation of any rights of another party.

Termination

Either party may terminate the service with written notice according to your subscription terms. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these terms. Upon termination, you will lose access to the service and your data (unless otherwise agreed).

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
